Sofia do Vale (Lisbon - 1980)
After graduated in painting from the University of Fine Arts in Lisbon I did a course of drawing and illustration at “Sociedade de Belas Artes”, in Lisboa. Then i went to Geneva (Switzerland) to do a Specialization in Art therapy during 3 years. I worked in different schools of Fine Arts in Spain, as a Carand’Ache demonstrator of materials.
I participated in conferences of illustration and several collective and individual exhibitions in Portugal, one individual exhibition in Geneva (Switzerland), one collective of painting at “Museu Antônio Parreiras”, in Rio de Janeiro (Brasil) and one collective exhibition at Pontedera, in Italy.
Actually i’m a portuguese freelance artist and art therapist, living and working at Vila Nova de Milfontes, on the SW coast of Portugal, where I create projects of illustration and offer programmes and workshops of art-thérapie.
I’m also a member of “Sopa dos Artistas” – an Association of International Artists living at the county of Odemira (Portugal).
